I run a variety of different workshops for adults and children:
These are for children around the ages of 6 – 11 years and we create a variety of fun items such as key rings, small pillows, lavender bags, decorations and bookmarks. These take place in the school holidays and run for around 2 hours.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
This takes place in term time and usually runs for around 10-11 weeks on Tuesdays between 4-5 pm. These are for slightly bigger projects so committing to the whole block is advisable. They are suitable for children around the ages of 6 – 11 years of all abilities.
Connie loves making the bag and she always says how much she enjoys doing it.
These usually run on a Friday or Saturday morning (between 2-3 hours) and offer tuition in basic machine sewing skills, cushion making, inserting a zip, making a drawstring or tote bag and seasonal items such as Christmas stockings and decorations.
A fantastic couple of hours getting to know our machines and gaining confidence for my own projects. Money well spent. – Joanna
If you want to familiarise yourself with your sewing machine or have a specific project in mind, I offer private lessons (minimum 1 hour) for both adults and children.
*PLEASE NOTE: You are welcome to bring your own machine along to the workshops but if you are unfamiliar with how the machine works, please bring the instructions. I am happy to advise you but do not have time in the workshops to spend one to one working it out.
Please contact me and I will be happy to discuss your requirements.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss ideas for a children’s sewing party.
Head over to the Bookings page to view all the available workshops. You can select the number of places and will receive an email confirmation once your booking has been approved.
Depending on the workshop, a (non-refundable) deposit may be required to secure a place – bank details will be included in the confirmation email. Full payment can then either be made by bank transfer or cash on the day.
