As we near the end of 2019, I’ve been reflecting on what I’ve accomplished this year. The after school club and holiday workshops have continued to flourish and the children have made some wonderful things. As well as honing their sewing skills, the children have had a chance to design and plan their work, learn […]
I can’t believe we are nearly half way through the year already. During the Spring, the children made some fantastic little wall hangings and some lovely owl bookmarks for Book Week. Mad dash to finish these amazing monsters in the last club of the term. Each child designed their own unique monster and made a template to work from. They added features using applique techniques and used blanket stitch to sew the front and back together. I think they’ve all done a fantastic job!
Yesterday was the last class before half term and a mad dash to get the cactus pictures finished. I am amazed at quality of the work and think they make an incredible display. Well done to all my little stitchers!
